Tips for Anxiety Relief

Anxiety is a suffering that cannot be expressed through words. It is a subtle emotional pain. Fear and anxiety always go together. They try to shatter peace. God is the only power who can carry us forward through these painful times. We will find peace and happiness only through God's love.

Meditation enables us to receive God's love and power as we focus our minds on the Supreme. Rajayoga Meditation is a beautiful meditation that connects the souls with the Supreme Soul (God). God heals the wounds of anxiety and fear and makes the mind healthy.

Let me make certain things clear. God has given the knowledge that can be used to free ourselves from the pain called anxiety. The first thing that God says is that we are souls or spirits, an infinitesimal point of divine light. All souls are children of one God, called as Supreme Soul. So, you are a soul and the body is your costume. Unfortunately, due to ego, we have forgotten our spiritual identity and have misidentified with the role that we play i.e. name, form, profession etc. We have attached ourselves so badly with our roles that we fear losing our name, form, position etc and this is the root cause of our crippling anxiety.

So, to get rid of this suffering we need to let go our attachment to our role and and start identifying ourselves as immortal spirits. So, to experience peace, the price we need to pay is our ego. We need to let go our old ego-based identity and embrace our true spiritual identity.
